Christina Ochoa is an actress, marine biologist, author and producer from Spain. She is the great-grandniece to Nobel winner Severo. Ochoa grew up in a household where both her artistic and scientific abilities were praised equally. After her high schooling, which led her to Spain and Australia to America and then back, she has been an active teacher of science via social media. She has been a hostess and keynote speaker for many scientific conferences and web-based shows. But, she began to the realization that even though scientific research has always been among her passions, acting was her main love. She began her acting initially as a side hobby, moved to Madrid in order to better understand of the field and possibly get a part. In 2008 she made her screen debut on the show comedy "La que se avecina'. Since then, she's performed on stage as well as as played lead characters in multiple television shows.
